The Person Behind House on Ady
There’s a person behind this house, and a story behind why I created this little corner of the internet. I’m a wife, a mom, and someone who has always loved making a house feel like home. I love the paint colors, the wallpaper, the decorating and the projects, but even more, I love the life that happens around them. The meals in the kitchen, the people around the table, and the ordinary moments that become the memories we keep.
After years in the corporate world, I decided it was time for something different. Now, as my kids are growing up and I’m entering a new season of life, I’m figuring out what comes next. House on Ady is part of that next chapter. It’s a place to share the things I love home decorating, cooking, everyday life and the little details that make a house feel personal. Because a home doesn’t have to be perfect to be meaningful. It just has to feel like yours.

A Few Things About Me
I have a serious love for vanilla lattes. There are few problems that can’t be made a little better with one.
I’m happiest at home. Give me my people, my dogs, something good to eat, and nowhere I need to be, and I’m happy.
My second happiest place is the coast of North Carolina. I could spend hours listening to the waves and doing absolutely nothing.
My Frenchie is my constant sidekick. He follows me from room to room and somehow manages to make his way into almost every photo.
I’m incredibly indecisive. I can spend three days deciding between two paint colors… and then change my mind anyway.
I have a background in healthcare. It taught me to care for people, stay calm when things get complicated, and probably overthink just about everything.
